As you have noticed, we have "The Lighthouse" theme going for our site. As Christians, we are to be a light shining in the darkness. In Matthew 6:14-16 Jesus told His Disciples, "'You are the light of the world.' A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

A lighthouse sits on a cliff or hill overlooking the coast line. When the night is dark, storms are raging, or the fog is blinding, that light in the lighthouse is so bright that it breaks through the darkness and the storms and the fog to guide the ships safely around the coast and into the harbor. That's what Christ wants us to do! We are to show our light so others can make it safely into His arms!

As we talk on the phone to our friends and family, we are to be that living, walking lighthouse. As we go to the grocery store or to sporting to events, we are to be that living, walking lighthouse. No matter how rude the cashier is or the other shoppers are, we are to still be that light. Some times, we are the only Bible some people may ever read. The way we live our lives can be a wonderful testimony!!

Here is something we feel you will enjoy! It is a wonderful flash movie. It last about five minutes or so. It is uplifting and encouraging.
