Basic Info: John was born in Greensboro, NC. He received a B.A. degree in Religion and M.A. degree in Old Testament from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma in 1976 and 1977. He received Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri in 1980. He received ordination from the British Isles South District in 1982.

He served as an associate pastor in youth and music, and as pastor for nearly 9 years in Britian. He taught voice at Nazarene Theological College in Manchester, England. In 1985, he was appointed Specialized Assignment Missionary serving as Administrative Assistant for eht Eurasia Regional Office in Bolton, England. In 1990, he transferred to Switzerland with the relocation of the regional office. He was granted a Career Assignment in 1992.

Hobbies include painting and interior design. His favorite colors are hunter green, deep blue, and plum. John also enjoys hiking.

Wellington coordinates all the mission work in Tanzania. He is District Superintendent for the two districts in the country, and he spearheads and teaches pastoral training. He is also involved in church planting. His wife Hellen is just as active!! She leads 9 Jesus Film Partnership (JFP) teams in Tanzania. She also trains pastors' wives & holds seminars for NMI, SSM, etc.

Some of the favorites the family enjoys: Hellen likes pizza recipes. Jimmy enjoys bicycles, attending Sunday School, and is attening Africa Nazarene University. Juliet is in the 7th grade. She likes Christian videos and riding bicycles; would love toys, calculators, and games as gifts. Jerald is in the 5th grade. He loves riding bicycles and playing soccar.

Bret is the Aviation Ministry Coordinator and will be maintaining and flying the plane "Wings of Faith" into Mexico and Central America. Sheri will be homeschoolling the girls and assisting Bret with the Aviation Ministry

Some of the Tredway's favorite things: Brent loves flying. He enjoys deer and elk hunting. He collects mini-airplanes, especially Cessnas. Favorite authors include Andrew Murray, Oswald Chambers, and Max Lucado. Sheri and the girls have been hit by the scrapbooking craze! They would like acid-free paper, acid-free pens/markers, acid-free stamps. The girls have a slighter different taste than mom. Rachel likes the cheetah print materials and enjoys the BRIGHT colors like yellow, blue, and purple for her scrapbook. Kelsey she's into the zebra print materials. Her favorite color is bright red and she likes hot pink. Rachel loves cats and anything to do with cats; Kelsy is the same way with horses. Sheri's favorite authors are Beth Moore, Jim Cymbala, and Henry Blackaby.

Nothing we post about Sister van Beek will do her any justice! However, we can encourage you to read ADVENTURE WITH GOD The Jeanine van Beek Story by Helen Temple. You can either ask your NMI President for it because it is one of this years reading books or you can purchase it from the Nazarene Publishing House.

Some of Sister van Beek's interest: She likes antiquing, reading historical novels, listening to classical music, & enjoying exotic foods. A few gift ideas: books, CDs, books on antiques, toiletries (anti-dry-skin soaps, natural perfumes). Food preferences include East Indian spices, cheeses, and sugar substitutes.

The Fraziers have served in Cote d'lvoire. Russ currently serves as the Director of Education for the Great Lakes Region, Nazarene Literature Committee Coordinator, and as Superintendent for the Rwanda NW District. Carla serves as the Registrar for the Bible Institute and is involved in the Child Sponsorship program. The Fraziers believe that God has called them to enter a new country for the Church of the Nazarene and to see the church established.

The Robisons are returning home!! They have been serving in Tanzania as Nazarenes in Volunteer Service (NIVS). They are from right here in Kentucky! Tommy is a Registered Nurse and Karla is a primary school teacher. The Robisons have one son (Shane 27). Tommy and Karla felt God's call on their lives to leave the comforts of the United States to minister to the people of Tanzania in East Africa. They left the U.S. in July 2001 and plan to return in July 2002.
